| The Savannah is an amazing cat.
The beauty and grace of the wild serval, and the sweet disposition of the
domestic. My F1's are so devoted to me. They are more dog like than the
average cat. They love to head butt, and have a purr that will drowned
out the TV.
The Savannah Cat is the newest of the cat breeds. Like the bengal it is being developed by breeding the wild cat to the domestic, this is usually the bengal/ hybrid or another domestic spotted cat. The wild cat used to make the savannah is the African Serval (Leptiurus Serval). Also known as the "Poor Man's Cheetah" SAVANNAH'S ARE EXPENSIVE
I feel with determination, the few breeders there are can make the Savannah the perfect cat. The larger size that is wanted and the amazing coat pattern along with the hybrid vigor and dog-like attitude, all rolled up into one amazing purring machine. |
